A personalized plan of care is established and intervention begins. Various physical therapy modalities may be utilized during treatments, including manual therapy, traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice, and heat as well as therapeutic exercise. In addition, an individualized safe-home exercise program is introduced so that the benefits of therapy can be continued at home.
